This Privacy Policy explains what information Xyset ("we", "us"), available at https://xyset.com, collects when you use the site, how that information is used, and the choices you have. We have tried to keep it in plain language, because privacy policies are only useful if people can actually understand them.

Information you give us

You can listen to radio on this site without creating an account and without telling us who you are. The only personal information we receive is what you choose to send us:

• Contact form — if you write to us, we receive your name, email address, and the content of your message, and we use them only to reply to you.
• Station submissions — if you submit a radio station, we receive the details you provide about the station and any contact information you include.
• Comments and reports — if you leave a comment on a station or report a broken stream, we receive the content you submit.

Information collected automatically

Like almost every website, our servers automatically record basic technical data when you visit: your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you view, and the date and time of your visit. We use this data to keep the site secure, diagnose problems, and understand which parts of the site are being used.

Favorites and listening history

Your favorite stations and your listening history are stored locally in your own browser (using browser storage), not on our servers. Clearing your browser data removes them.

Radio streams are external services

When you play a station, the audio stream is delivered directly from the broadcaster's own servers, not from ours. That broadcaster may receive your IP address as a normal part of serving the stream, exactly as it would if you opened the stream in any radio app. This Privacy Policy covers only Xyset; the streams themselves and any broadcaster websites are governed by the broadcasters' own privacy policies.

How we use information

We use the information described above to operate and improve the site, respond to messages, review submitted stations, keep the service secure, and display advertising. We do not sell your personal information.

Children's privacy

Xyset is a general-audience website and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of personal information you have sent us. Because we keep very little — essentially just correspondence and submissions — such requests are usually simple to honor.
